Bossard launched her professional career in the field of commercial seafood worker in 1999. She began to work with the ship F/V Sunset which was a 65' halibut schooner and was later converted into a Salmon tender, in the name of Murat Aritan who was employed in commercial fishing since 1993. Bossard is currently is married to Aritan and they have come together to prove their claim to the market. They are both proponents of preserving sustainable and renewable sources of seafood. Otolith has opened its market direct wholesale distributor in Philadelphia after Bossard returned from living back at home with her daughters, Bella 3 years old and Andre one, and Andre 1, to Philadelphia.
